Front Seat Life, LLC was created in 2015 by founder Kelly Marie Wofford. Front Seat Life, LLC is dedicated to eliminating the stigma of addressing mental health and emotional well-being, with a focus on communities of color. Front Seat Life, LLC programs:
Mental Health Coaching. One-on-One peer coaching where clients work to decrease stress to increase mental health.
Color of Crazy Series. A panel discussion held at community centers and churches, featuring community members with mental health challenges.
Destination Relaxation: Half day emersion experience where participants get to take a dive into the mental health recovery process.
Faith Leaders Mental Health Roundtable: Currently under production. A monthly discussion with faith leaders on addressing mental health within their congregations.
Live Experiences & Facilitation: Front Seat Life, LLC. is often contracted to provide virtual and in person trainings, group facilitation, event moderation and other live experiences.

About Kelly Marie Wofford

Kelly Marie Wofford is an advocate, an organizer, a teacher, and a storyteller. Kelly Marie is the founder and principal of Front Seat Life, LLC, an organization dedicated to eliminating barriers to mental health and wellness. A survivor of childhood sexual abuse and Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as lived suicide experiences Kelly Marie uses her own life to educate and empower others.  Encouraging people to “Be the Light” she creates space to share stories and strategies with other survivors, caregivers, advocates and health professionals. In her many leadership roles in Buffalo, New York, Kelly Marie, elevates the importance of mental health care access and reducing the stigmas related to seeking support, especially in BIPOC communities.

Kelly Marie also leads communications efforts and mental health advocacy in one of Buffalo’s newest non-profit organizations, the Buffalo Center for Health Equity, an organization focused on eliminating significant race-based health disparities by focusing on education, advocacy, and support for the social determinants of health. Her leadership was also pivotal in the creation of the University at Buffalo’s Institute for Community Health Equity, a brand new research institute - and the first of its kind – that will partner with the Buffalo Center for Health Equity to provide the research and partnership needed to achieve a vision of a more healthy, equitable, and just city.

She volunteers throughout her community. Kelly Marie serves on the board of directors of several organizations dedicated to community health, is a minister with Impacting Love Global Ministries and a class chair of Leadership Buffalo class of 2017. Due to her dedication to mental health and racial equity, Kelly Marie was named a 2021 LISC Rubinger Fellow. Kelly Marie has already made a lasting impact on racial equity education and training in Buffalo, and her commitment to reducing barriers to mental health care access is timely and suggests significant impact to come.
